Description
This is a modern replica of a WWII German Luftwaffe–style assault clasp, produced in the elongated horizontal clasp format rather than the standard oval badge form.
The clasp displays a Luftwaffe-pattern eagle positioned above a central oak-leaf wreath, with a crossed close-combat / assault implements motif at the center. The extended horizontal wings to either side reflect the clasp-style construction associated with combat qualification awards intended for wear on the tunic breast.
While clearly inspired by the design language of Luftwaffe ground-combat and assault awards of the Second World War, this specific configuration does not correspond to a formally standardized, officially issued wartime Luftwaffe clasp. It is therefore correctly identified as a postwar replica / fantasy-style assault clasp, produced for display, reenactment, or educational use.
